Halloween Activities (English Day)

On the 1st of November, we had our annual English activities to celebrate the Halloween festival. In addition, an English assembly was led by two students to introduce the origins of the festival and why children go trick-or-treating. This year, we celebrated Halloween with our first costume contest. This allowed our students to speak and listen to English in an authentic environment. Each class had two representatives dressed in creative costumes to join the contest. The booth games were held successfully in the English room and with an exciting and scary atmosphere. Our student’s interest in English was aroused by playing word games, and attending the costume contest and assembly. Not only were students able to show their enthusiasm for the festival, but also their talent in English speaking on the stage. Many of our students were in Halloween costumes and had a wonderful time in playing the booth games.
